Job Title: General Service Technician at Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers

Join us to apply for the General Service Technician role at Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle services and repairs following Monro standards of operation.
• Conduct tire services including wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, mounting, installation, and TPMS repairs.
• Perform vehicle services such as lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance (e.g., bulb, wiper blade, and filter replacements), battery testing, and installations.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, identifying, documenting, and communicating additional needed services and repairs.
• Assist in inventory management, including pulling tires and parts, unloading, and stocking inventory.
• Maintain the store's cleanliness and guest-ready condition, assisting with all general store duties.
• Perform services in accordance with safety standards, including wheel torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
• Test drive vehicles following Monro’s Road Test policy, observing traffic and safety laws.
• Adhere to company policies, governmental standards, environmental codes, and OSHA standards.
• Maintain technical knowledge through completion of Monro University training courses and modules.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely, including lifts, welders, and brake lathes.
• Assist in guest care, work order completion, facility maintenance, and purchase ordering under management direction.
• Handle opening and closing responsibilities as a secondary key carrier.
• Effectively communicate all products and services offered to guests.
