Team Car Care Dba Jiffy Lube in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a General Service Technician. This entry-level role focuses on servicing guest vehicles with quality work and a great guest experience through our training program.

You will gain certification in all offered services, receive biweekly incentives, benefits, and opportunities for advancement, with the flexibility to work a part-time schedule and earn hourly pay between $15.00 and $15.24.

Qualifications

• 3 months of customer-facing experience (e.g., retail, food service, hospitality)
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
• Strong work ethic, dependable, team player, and able to follow procedures

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on-time guest care during operating hours
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles
• Keep the service center clean and presentable
• Mentor junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report safety issues to management
• Perform light to heavy manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

HOW YOU WILL DRIVE SUCCESS:

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
• Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Checking and communicating oil level to other teammates
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report any safety issues immediately to management
• Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform various manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting

UNDER THE HOOD – WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
• Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and make sound decisions
• Physically able to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
• Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned
