Team Car Care Dba Jiffy Lube is hiring a part-time General Service Technician in Fort Worth, TX. You will service guest vehicles with care, under our training program you’ll earn certification and build hands-on expertise across our offered services, setting you up for future growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer-facing experience (retail, food service, hospitality, etc.).
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending and squatting.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays.
• Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Ensure the service center is clean and presentable.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians.
• Check and communicate oil level to other teammates.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform various manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and standing.
