Job summary

Team Car Care is hiring a General Service Technician in Bellevue, NE. You will service guest vehicles, follow training to certify skills, and contribute to a positive guest experience. The entry-level role offers development through our training program and a clear pathway to advanced certifications.

You will promote teamwork, provide clear vehicle updates, and help keep the shop organized and safe. This position requires physical stamina and dedication to precision and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effective communication with guests and teammates
• Strong work ethic, dependable and a team player
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending/squatting
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and loud environments

Responsibilities

• Ensure the service center is clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Check and communicate oil level to other teammates
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report any safety issues immediately to management
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform various manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

HOW YOU WILL DRIVE SUCCESS:

UNDER THE HOOD – WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future
• Previous experience is preferred but not required

• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
• Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and make sound decisions
• Physically able to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
• Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
