Job summary

Latitude Corp is seeking a General Production Worker to join a 100% employee-owned team in Tucson. Shift is Monday–Friday, 1:30–10:00pm. The role involves assembling parts, operating equipment, and ensuring quality per specifications in a climate-controlled facility.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing shop experience, strong attention to detail, and good teamwork. Eligible for overtime and benefits under the employee-owned structure.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing shop experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Punctual and safety-minded.
• Able to follow directions and multi-task.
• Ability to read and use tape measure and caliper if trained.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and department procedures as specified by the supervisor.
• Assemble or process parts as instructed within expected parameters.
• Operate and maintain equipment as trained.
• Perform material handling and organize parts for the department.
• Complete final inspection and packaging of assigned product in conformance with specifications.
• Log nonconforming and scrap material in VISTA as instructed.
• Arrive to work on time and be willing to work overtime when needed.
• Maintain MES system as instructed.
• Ensure quality workmanship meets requirements.

• Physical- Capable of lifting 40 lbs. safely or with assistance. Capability of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing manual labor with or without reasonable accommodation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Timely completion of job functions as trained. Responsible for ensuring all items inspected adhere to the appropriate specification before they are shipped to the customer. Adhere to Quality Management Systems. Authorized to operate company forklift if trained. Responsible for producing quality workmanship, which meets or exceeds requirements.

• Follow work instructions and understand department procedures as specified by the supervisor.
• Assemble or process parts as instructed within expected parameters.
• Operate and maintain equipment as trained.
• Responsible for material handling and organization of parts for the department.
• Perform final inspection and packaging of assigned product in conformance with specifications and meet daily required production assignments.
• Possess an understanding of customer’s aesthetic requirements and apply these requirements in the inspection process.
• Audit of materials and/or production parts before delivery to next operation area.
• Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by working with department supervisor and department lead.
• Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
• Communicate accurately and effectively to other individuals in the department as well as other departments.
• Complete task independently from job-list, with some supervision.
• Follow and execute Quality Management System procedures including, instructions on job travelers and control plan per procedures.
• Accurately maintain MES system as instructed.
• Log nonconforming and scrap material in VISTA as instructed.
• Maintain neat and clean work area.
• Assist in monthly inventory process.
• Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime when needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Possess basic math and reading skills.Possess ability to read and use tape measure and caliper if trained.
• Ability to visually inspect parts.

Education and Experience

• Manufacturing shop experience preferred.
