Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is hiring General Production team members to join our high-volume meat processing operations. You will help run the production line, handle tools and equipment, and contribute to safe, quality output for families across the country.

The role requires 18+ years of age, the ability to work physically demanding shifts, and flexibility for overtime based on production needs. Training and safety protocols are provided to ensure a strong, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for long shifts (up to 12 hours).
• Able to work in cold and hot environments.
• Able to handle knives and meat processing equipment when trained.
• Willing to work overtime as production demands require.

Responsibilities

• Process meat products using hand tools, knives, machinery and other equipment.
• Support a safe, efficient production line and maintain quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
