Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client is seeking a General Production Associate to join the Dry Packaging department in Bloomfield, CT. You will support production operations with a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, can read and write English, and is willing to rotate through different tasks while standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product on a continuous basis to ensure quality standards are met.
• Remove damaged or defective product, baskets, or materials and store or dispose of them properly.
• Perform visual inspections of packaging to confirm accuracy, seal integrity, and code/date compliance.
• Stack cartons or trays onto pallets/skids using correct patterns; safely operate pallet jacks for movement of finished goods.
• Follow JSAs, plant policies, and food safety protocols at all times during operations.

Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a General Production Associate to join their team. As a General Production Associate, you will be part of the Dry Packaging department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Production Associate

Location: Bloomfield, CT

Pay Range: $17/ hour

Shift: 1 - 1st Shift

What's the Job?

• Inspect product on a continuous basis to ensure all quality standards are met.
• Remove damaged or defective product, baskets, or materials and properly store or dispose of them.
• Perform visual inspections of packaging to confirm accuracy, seal integrity, and code/date compliance.
• Stack cartons or trays onto pallets/skids using correct patterns; safely operate pallet jacks for movement of finished goods.
• Follow established job safety analyses (JSAs), plant policies, and food safety protocols at all times while supporting daily manufacturing operations.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and rotate through different tasks.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours) and perform frequent turning, grasping, and reaching.
