Job summary

JBS USA in Pipestone, MN is hiring a General Production Laborer for day or night shifts. Starting wages are $20.50/hr days ($42,640/yr) and $22.50/hr nights ($46,800/yr), with potential for higher earnings. Shifts run Mon–Fri and Saturdays as needed, and benefits begin after 60 days in employment.

Applicants should be able to work in cold environments, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced setting. Overtime on weekends is common and required when necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 4+ months experience in meat industry, work environment or similar labor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in damp or cold conditions (35-45 Degrees).
• Lift, pull, or push 10-50 lbs.
• Willing and capable of overtime when necessary.
• Willing and capable of working on Saturdays.
• Repetitive hand motions and fast-paced work environment.
• Job can be physically demanding; 5-6 week adjustment period.
• All other duties as assigned by Lead, Supervisor, or Superintendent.

GENERAL PRODUCTION LABORER

Shifts Available

Days - $20.50/hr (starting) $42,640.00+ yrly earning potential

Nights - $22.50/hr (starting) $46,800.00+ yrly earning potential

• Both Shifts run Monday to Friday and Saturdays as needed

• Work in damp or cold conditions (35-45 Degrees)
• Work in areas that require you to lift, pull, or push 10-50 lbs
• Willing and capable of working overtime when necessary
• Willing and capable of working on Saturdays
• Willing and capable of working in a fast pace work environment, performing repetitive hand motions and body movements.
• Job can be physically demanding. May take 5 to 6 weeks for the body to fully adjust to the working conditions/work environment.
• NEUTRAL WRIST- Repetitive hand motions and grasping.
• REACHING - Reaching for product on the conveyor belt with hooks, reaching for boxes, or bags
• STANDING - Constant standing for 8 to 10 hours per day, up to 6 days a week
• All other duties/jobs as assigned by Lead, Supervisor, Superintendent and or Superior.

Basic Preferences /Qualifications-

• Previous work (4+ months) in meat industry, work environment and or similar labor is preferred.
• Must be at least 18yrs of age
• Authorized to work in the United States
