Job summary

Grande Cheese Company in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a General Production associate to prepare, package, and inspect cheese products in a fast-paced facility. You will load cheese onto production lines, perform quality checks, monitor automated equipment, and complete production and regulatory paperwork.

Assigned departments may include dice/shred, aged, vacuum packing, salting, or labeling. This role emphasizes sanitation, accurate labeling, and teamwork in a hands-on manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred
• Three (3) months or more of related work experience and/or training in a food manufacturing industry strongly preferred.

• Associates will be assigned a department upon hire (e.g. dice/shred, aged, vacuum packing, salting, packaging, or tying product) as required.
• Maintains sanitation standards, ensures proper labeling and coding, identifies product or equipment issues, and provides support across the department as needed.

• Monday - Saturday with two rotating days off
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Pay Range

Pay Starting at $22.89/hour

Pay Premiums:

• $3.00 per hour for night shift hours (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• $2.25 per hour for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
• Earn up to $1,500 in bonus pay during your first year!

What you need to be considered for the role:

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

This role requires the ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing between 20-50 lbs, as well as frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, and exposure to vibration. The work environment may involve exposure to extreme temperatures (both hot and cold), high humidity, and loud machinery.
