Job summary

Dauch is seeking a General Production Operator for Troy, MI to keep diverse manufacturing lines running smoothly. You will operate press, furnace, heat treating, coating, saw and lathe lines, maintaining run rates and quality.

You will use micrometers, calipers, and gages for SPC and quality, enter data in Plexus, and manage material traceability and heat numbers while supporting 5S and safety initiatives to prevent injuries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and safety practices preferred.
• Ability to perform measurement and quality checks.
• Familiarity with SPC or quality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate press room equipment and maintain run rates and quality standards.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and gages to perform SPC and maintain quality systems.
• Utilize Plexus software for operations tracking and data entry.
• Demonstrate understanding of material traceability, including tags and heat numbers.
• Operate hi-lo and/or overhead crane in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold 5S standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Identify and respond to safety concerns to maintain a zero-injury environment.
• All other duties assigned.
