Job summary

AmeriTex Pipe & Products is seeking a general laborer to support daily manufacturing activities in a hands-on environment. The role requires following safety rules, assisting with mold building and concrete finishing, and using tools as trained.

You will wear PPE, follow production plans, and report equipment issues promptly to help keep operations running smoothly on site in Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desirable but not required.
• Experience in construction or manufacturing desired but not required.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety guidelines and procedures for this role.
• Always wears the proper PPE and follows PPE guidelines.
• Does not operate any equipment unless trained to do so.
• Follows the production/batch plan according to the daily production plan.
• Uses heavy power manual tools, including a jack hammer.
• Communicates equipment failure or malfunction to the maintenance team immediately.
• Responsible for building molds for future needs of box department.
• Assists with concrete finishing duties, such as repairing /patching concrete pipes and boxes.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Department Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or a member of the Management Team.

Job description

This role is a main contributor to the daily manufacturing requirements and output for the facility. Provides general labor support to the team within the department. The team member is also required to follow all the health & safety rules, regulations, and initiatives in the area that he/she is assigned to.
