Job summary

USVTA, Veterinary Recruiting is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a general practice in Sugar Land, TX. The hospital values long-term client relationships and patient care. Open to experienced veterinarians and new graduates starting their veterinary career.

The ideal candidate will hold a DVM, maintain an active state license (or be pursuing it), and have or be willing to obtain a DEA license. A commitment to ethics and continuous learning is essential.

Credentials & Qualifications That Are Required


  • Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree from an AVMA accredited college or university.

  • Active state license in good standing, or currently pursuing licensure.

  • Current DEA license in good standing, or willing to obtain.

  • A commitment to veterinary excellence and upholding the Principles of Veterinary Medical Ethics.
