Job summary

Amcor is seeking a dependable, safety-focused General Plant Spare Hand in New London, WI to learn multiple production processes and support operations across the facility. Training is provided; no prior manufacturing experience is required.

The pay is $27.93 per hour with overtime opportunities in your first year, plus 1.5x overtime and 2x pay on Sundays, and a rotating 21-7 schedule with 7 days on and 7 days off. Benefits start Day 1.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work all shifts within a rotating 21-7 schedule.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Train and work as a Rewind, Blown Film, Coating, or Press Assistant based on production needs.
• Support production operations while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Participate in OSHA and site-required safety training.
• Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

This entry-level manufacturing role offers the opportunity to learn multiple production processes while supporting operations across the facility. No previous manufacturing experience is required. Training is provided.
