Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a full-time General Pediatrician to join their Pediatrics Service Line in Wayne, New Jersey. This role involves providing primary preventative and acute care for children ages 0-18, including those with special needs.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Medical Director to develop a comprehensive General Pediatrics program and will be responsible for conducting wellness visits, screenings, and providing guidance to parents on health issues. Competitive compensation and extensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree.
• Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics.
• Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary preventative and acute illness care for children aged 0-18.
• Conduct routine wellness visits and screenings.
• Guide parents on nutrition, sleep, behavior, and emotional wellness.
