Baystate Health is seeking a pediatrician to join our team in Springfield, MA. This 1.0 FTE role involves serving a diverse patient population within a teaching environment affiliated with UMass-Chan Baystate.

We offer a base salary range of $187,900–$315,000 with annual incentive opportunities and robust benefits, including relocation support and generous PTO. Collaboration with residents and fellows is a core part of the position.

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, Children's Hospital, three community hospitals and the region's largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• Join our team of 13 physicians and APPs within a culture of interdisciplinary learning, academic curiosity, and mutual respect to promote wellness, growth, equity, and education in all interactions throughout our ACO primary care practice and resident Continuity Clinic in Springfield MA.
• Serve a vibrant and diverse multilingual patient population.
• Address the social determinants of health in our community and provide excellent, evidence-based, compassionate, trauma-sensitive care that meets the medical, developmental and emotional needs of families.
• Deliver comprehensive education to pediatric residents, medical students and other learners in a setting that models excellent and innovative population-based care to promote health equity through community. Faculty appointment to UMass-Chan Baystate.
• Baystate Children's Hospital is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 107-beds and includes the region's only PICU and NICU, as well as pediatric inpatient services, child life specialists, a designated 24-hour pediatric ED and services from 11 pediatric subspecialties, pediatric surgery and child psychiatry.
• Qualifications: ABMS board certified pediatrics.
• Our compensation package consists of a base salary of between $187,900- $315,000 (based on 1.0 FTE, experience level and qualifications) and annual incentive bonus opportunities.
