Health Match BC is seeking a Canadian RCPSC General Pathologist (or AP/CP board-certified) for a Trail-based position at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. The role focuses on general surgical pathology, cytology, and clinical pathology with opportunities for rural lab directorship.

The successful candidate will join a team in a high-volume lab (8500+ surgical pathology cases annually) and collaborate across specialties, while enjoying the West Kootenays lifestyle and regional incentives.

Formación

• Must be Canadian Royal College certified General Pathologist, or board certified AP/CP.
• Strong skills in general surgical pathology and cytology.
• Experience with transfusion medicine and laboratory oversight.

Responsabilidades

• Sign out general surgical pathology and cytology cases.
• Sign out clinical pathology cases (peripheral blood smears, bone marrow biopsies).
• Oversee laboratory operations; potential medical directorship of rural labs.
