Job summary

MLabs is seeking a highly entrepreneurial General Partner to mentor portfolio founders and guide early-stage startups in Web3, crypto, and AI. The role is on-site in New York City, with a strong emphasis on fundraising, admissions, and strategic execution.

The ideal candidate has a proven founder track record, deep domain expertise in relevant tech, and exceptional judgment and EQ to lead high-stakes advisory work with elite investors and portfolios.

Qualifications

• Proven founder track record as a founder or early executive.
• Deep Web3/Crypto, distributed systems, or AI domain expertise.
• Strong ability to evaluate technical plans and market opportunities.
• High emotional intelligence and discretion.
• Must be located in, or relocate to, New York City for in-person work.

Responsibilities

• Mentor portfolio founders and guide startups through growth, product, and fundraising.
• Lead admissions and evaluate early-stage applications with conviction.
• Architect investor pitches and seed-stage fundraising plans.
• Resolve co-founder equity and operational pivots during inflection points.
• Publish thought leadership and ecosystem content for broad distribution.
