Job summary

As our General Orthopedic Surgeon, you will join CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group, part of CommonSpirit Health, in a well-established orthopedic practice at CHI Saint Joseph London in London, Kentucky. You will benefit from a large referral base, dedicated surgical block time, and an employed position within a national nonprofit health system.

Daily duties include clinic-based and surgical care with a typical schedule of two to three clinic days and two surgery days per week.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Active Medical License in Kentucky, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• DEA certificate required.
• Completion of ACGME Orthopedic Surgery Residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic-based and surgical care.
• Maintain a schedule of two to three clinic days and two surgery days per week.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, APPs, CMAs and support staff.
• Utilize in-clinic X-ray and Epic EMR in daily work.
• Be part of a state-of-the-art 150-bed regional hospital and employed within a national nonprofit health system.
