Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a full-time General Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, surgical procedures, and shared call responsibilities in a welcoming rural community.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic care across the lifespan, including joint replacement, fracture care, and hand procedures, with experience in spine/back pain evaluation preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree.
• Successful completion of a ACGME Orthopedic residency program.
• Ability to obtain a NH medical license.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
• Perform surgical procedures including joint replacement and fracture care.
• Collaborate with primary care, rehab, and pain management teams.
• Balance outpatient clinic, surgery, and shared call responsibilities.
