Job summary

Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic generalist to join a busy hospital-employed practice. Expect to treat hips, knees and shoulders along with common hand and extremity conditions.

Fellowship-trained surgeons open to general ortho will be considered. You will work with General Surgery residents and engage in trauma coverage as the center advances toward Level III status.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Orthopedic generalist required.
• Experience with hips, knees and shoulders preferred.
• Ability to manage extensor injuries and common hand conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic care in a hospital-employed practice.
• Collaborate with General Surgery residents and surgical teams.
• Participate in trauma coverage as Logan Regional evolves its status.

Job Description

Logan Regional Medical Center, in Logan, WV, is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic generalist to join a busy hospital-employed practice. Incoming providers can expect to see hips, knees and shoulders, along with trigger finger, carpal tunnel, extremity fractures, joint replacements, arthroscopic knees/joints. The hospital is willing to consider fellowship-trained specialty individuals if the provider is willing to do general ortho as well. The provider will have access to work with the General Surgery residents who rotate through Logan Regional. Logan Regional is a designated Level IV trauma center with the intent of moving to a Level III.
