Qualifications

• Completion of ACGME accredited OB/GYN residency
• Eligible for a Virginia medical license
• Potential for scholarship or creative expression to complement and expand existing expertise in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.

Responsibilities

• Teaching medical students and residents to meet core educational objectives in general obstetrics and gynecology
• Encourage clinical research participation and publish findings
• Serve on departmental, health system, and university committees as needed
• Provide clinical care in general obstetrics and gynecology including clinic, inpatient care, surgery, and night-call duties
• Participate in department and institutional administrative activities
