The Portland Clinic in Oregon seeks a BE/BC general neurologist to join our Multi-Specialty Group with Beaverton, Tigard, and South Portland locations. This is a growth opportunity to enhance neurology services within the group.

Ideally, candidates have interest in cognitive/behavioral neurology, MS or movement disorders. We offer a competitive salary/compensation package, potential for partnership, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401K with match, CME allowance

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Neurology with current eligibility to practice in the US.
• Interest or focus in cognitive/behavioral neurology, MS or movement disorders preferred.
• Excellent diagnostic and patient-care skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose neurological disorders including strokes, epilepsy, dementia, and MS.
• Perform neurological tests and procedures to determine patient condition.
• Interpret neuroimaging results (MRI, CT) to guide care.
• Prescribe and manage medications and other treatments.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and options.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed; monitor progress.
• Participate in professional development and maintain up-to-date knowledge.

The Portland Clinic is seeking a BE/BC general neurologist to join our Multi-Specialty Group. We have office locations in Beaverton, Tigard and South Portland. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to grow and enhance the neurology service in our group. Dedication to collaborative patient care is a must, and specialty training or focus in cognitive/behavioral neurology, MS or movement disorders is highly preferred.

A competitive salary/compensation package is offered, as well as the potential for future partnership. Benefits include:

• Compensation- $340K (Based on 40hr of patient facing care per week)
• $100,000 sign-on bonus, paid for in four installments over the first 4 years ($25,000 each)

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluating and diagnosing neurological disorders such as strokes, epilepsy, dementia, and multiple sclerosis
• Conducting various neurological tests and procedures to determine the nature of a patient’s condition
• Interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies like MRIs and CT scans
• Prescribing and managing medications and other treatments for neurological disorders
• Providing patients and their families with information and education about their condition and treatment options
• Referring patients to other medical specialists or services as needed, such as physical therapists, psychiatrists, or neurosurgeons
• Tracking patient progress over time and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Performing certain procedures such as lumbar punctures or administering Botox injections for certain neurological conditions
• Staying updated on the latest research and advancements in neurology
• Participating in professional development and continuing education activities
