Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in neurology.
• Preference for cognitive/behavioral neurology, MS or movement disorders training.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose neurological disorders.
• Perform neurological tests and procedures.
• Interpret neuroimaging results (MRI/CT).
• Prescribe and manage treatments for neurological conditions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and options.
• Refer to specialists as needed and coordinate care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.

To assist you as you build your new practice, the Clinic offers a full range of services that include surgical and non-surgical specialties, our own accredited surgery center, CT, MRI, ultrasound, a full laboratory, diabetes clinic, behavioral health, social work, and clinical pharmacy.

A competitive salary/compensation package is offered, as well as the potential for future partnership. Benefits include:

• Compensation- $340K (Based on 40hr of patient facing care per week)
• $100,000 sign-on bonus, paid for in four installments over the first 4 years ($25,000 each)

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluating and diagnosing neurological disorders such as strokes, epilepsy, dementia, and multiple sclerosis
• Conducting various neurological tests and procedures to determine the nature of a patient's condition
• Interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies like MRIs and CT scans
• Prescribing and managing medications and other treatments for neurological disorders
• Providing patients and their families with information and education about their condition and treatment options
• Referring patients to other medical specialists or services as needed, such as physical therapists, psychiatrists, or neurosurgeons
• Tracking patient progress over time and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Performing certain procedures such as lumbar punctures or administering Botox injections for certain neurological conditions
• Staying updated on the latest research and advancements in neurology
• Participating in professional development and continuing education activities
