Job summary

Duke Health Lake Normal Hospital in Mooresville, NC seeks a fellowship-trained, BC/BE general neurologist to join the Lake Normal practice. The role offers the chance to grow a subspecialty focus in Headache, Movement, Epilepsy, or Sleep, with a strong emphasis on physician quality of life within Duke Health.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide general neurology care with potential subspecialty focus, in an academic medical setting.
• Call 7 days per month, including telehealth stroke and general neurology services.
• Work 8 half-day sessions per week with dedicated support and AI scribe aid.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Role

Duke Health Lake Normal Hospital is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE general neurologist to join the Lake Normal practice at our campus in Mooresville, NC. This general neurologist will provide clinical care with the opportunity to grow a subspecialty focus. Subspecialty-trained neurologists in Headache, Movement, Epilepsy, or Sleep are encouraged to apply. The role offers physician quality of life with the resources of a leading academic medical system. Role overview:

• Call 7 days per month - Telehealth Stroke & General Neurology
• 8 half-day sessions per week
• Dedicated nurse or medical assistant and two rooms per provider
• Abridge AI scribe available, among Duke Health resources

This neurologist will deliver exceptional, compassionate care for patients while upholding Duke Health standards. Duke physicians possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm, and professionalism.

Duke Health Lake Normal offers a robust compensation plan that rewards clinical productivity. Salary will be commensurate with training, experience, and the focus of the role.
