i.g. Burton Auto Group is seeking qualified, experienced auto service technicians to handle repair, warranty, and maintenance orders on our vehicles.

Service Technicians will enjoy working in our state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technological advances.

We offer competitive wages based on experience and certifications.

Teamwork with other technicians, service advisors, parts department, service manager, and sometimes, customer interaction is essential. Our technicians must perform accurate and efficient diagnostic inspections, repairs, ensure proper completion of work, follow manufacturer and dealership protocols. Factory training is preferred but not required.

• Accurately diagnose problems using system diagnostics and testing
• Perform thorough, efficient, timely, and quality repairs
• Maintain safety standards and keep a clean, safe work area
• Communicate clearly (both written and verbal) with service advisors and management
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, honesty, and appropriate behavior with co-workers, management, and customers
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality repairs
• Engage in regular technical education

Qualifications:

• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive mechanical issues efficiently
• ASE certification preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and operate shop tools without impairment
• Professionalism
