Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring an entry level Stocking Clerk in Indiana to support store operations and ensure shelves are stocked for a great shopping experience.

You’ll perform stocking, pallet movement, back-room disposal, and housekeeping tasks while delivering friendly service to customers and collaborating with leadership to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
