Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver excellent customer service and maintain organized shelves. You will gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, including stocking, backroom organization, and merchandising, while supporting leadership.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficiency with weekly pay and opportunities to grow through development programs. This position is ideal for individuals who like hands-on work and making a visible daily impact.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Collaborate with leadership to complete tasks on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
