Job summary

Walmart Supercenter in Johnsburg, IL is seeking General Merchandise Associates to greet customers, assist with selections, and suggest products based on needs. You will help maintain hobby and home improvement displays and may perform paint mixing or fabric cutting as required.

This full-time role includes additional compensation through performance incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage and retirement plans.

Job description

Additional Compensation

Additional Compensation Includes Annual Or Quarterly Performance Incentives.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Job Overview

General merchandise associates greet customers on the salesfloor, offer them assistance and recommend merchandise based on the customer's wants and needs. They also ensure Hobbies & Home Improvement displays are maintained and in proper order throughout day. Paint mixing and fabric cutting may be required.
