Walmart in Athens, GA is seeking a part-time General Merchandise Associate to greet customers on the sales floor, assist with their needs, and recommend merchandise based on what customers want and need.

You will help maintain Hobbies & Home Improvement displays, may assist with paint mixing and fabric cutting, and support a safe, organized shopping environment. The role includes performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Hourly Wage: $14 - $27 per/hour

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Job Overview

General merchandise associates greet customers on the salesfloor, offer them assistance and recommend merchandise based on the customer's wants and needs. They also ensure Hobbies & Home Improvement displays are maintained and in proper order throughout day. Paint mixing and fabric cutting may be required.
