Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Highland, IN is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk (part-time) to keep shelves stocked and ready for customers. You will move products from pallets to shelves, manage back-room backstock and trash, and work with leadership to complete tasks on schedule while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Overnight shifts are required, with customer-friendly service a daily goal. We offer weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, and a benefits package including education assistance,

Qualifications

• Experience providing friendly, helpful service in a retail setting.
• Willingness to learn basic technology and follow processes.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods.
• Calm, productive team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
