Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan is hiring an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service while maintaining stocked shelves and clean store areas. You’ll learn store systems, assist customers, and support merchandising efforts.

This role includes overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day, physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, and teamwork with leadership to complete tasks on time; prior pallet jack/forklift experience is a plus.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly.

Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
