Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise team member in California to create an easy, inspiring guest experience. You will help guests find what they need, replenish shelves, price signs, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor and backroom to support timely shopping.

Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are common to meet business needs. You may assist with back-up cashier and digital fulfillment tasks while following safety policies. Starting hourly rate is $18.75 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet customers and assist with finding products or resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and maintain a positive attitude.
• Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas as needed while upholding safety and policies.
• Perform backroom organization, stock replenishment, signage, pricing activities, and overall store upkeep.
