Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk responsible for keeping shelves stocked and ready for customers. You will stock shelves, move products to correct locations, and dispose of waste in back‑rooms, while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

You will work closely with leadership to meet deadlines and provide friendly customer service. This entry-level role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn new tasks in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Able to learn and use basic technology.
• Organized and efficient in following processes.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player who supports shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep store operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do
