Job summary

Mission Hospital in North Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. You will identify changes in patient status, administer medications, document care, respond to requests, and educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.

Requirements include RN licensure, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), Basic Life Support within 30 days of start, and 1+ years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN Licensure in the state of North Carolina
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1+ year RN experience preferred or required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and with each shift, reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses, documenting care in the medical record
• Respond to patient requests promptly and ensure compassionate care
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications and follow-up measures
