Temple-Health in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a General Mechanic for part-time evening shifts. You will perform skilled maintenance and repairs on facilities equipment, contribute to rounds, and support the Facilities Management team.

The role requires at least a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of general maintenance experience; trade school is preferred. A valid driver's license is required and you will work Thursday and Friday 3:30 pm–10 pm and Saturday 8 am–3 pm.

Position: General Mechanic

Hours: 20hrs/week, Thursday - Friday 3:30p -10p & Saturday 8am to 3pm

Performs skilled maintenance and repairs and a variety of maintenance and engineering duties for the Facilities Management Department. Assigned to work by the Facilities Management Staff on a regular basis. In addition, this position is called upon to work on projects with other trade mechanics, make rounds and report discrepancies to the Director of Facilities or any Facilities Management Staff. This position will assist with work to ensure that work orders and preventative maintenance work are corrected in a timely and cost-effective manner. Has a general working knowledge of areas of maintenance and repair. This position performs other general maintenance responsibilities not directly related to designated or licensed trade and works independently. Maintains and Performs equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and complex repairs equipment and other facility related equipment and structures.
