Job summary

Agtegra Cooperative in Aberdeen, SD, is building a new Travel Center and seeks an experienced General Manager to lead operations from ground up. The role offers influence over culture, guest service, and daily performance as the site opens in 2027.

You will manage a diverse team, partner with internal and external stakeholders, and implement hospitality-driven standards to welcome travelers and local communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of related experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• English Proficiency.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License.

Position Summary

Agtegra Cooperative is building a place where neighbors, families and travelers can connect, fuel up and feel at home by constructing a new Travel Center on the east side of Aberdeen. Located at the corner of U.S. Highway 12 and Brown County 14, the Travel Center will serve everyone from truckers to local families on the go.

With construction already underway and an anticipated opening in early 2027, this travel center will offer a welcoming environment with fresh-made meals, clean amenities and well-lit fuel and diesel pumps with easy access for trucks and farm equipment.

As this exciting new Travel Center takes shape, Agtegra is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to help bring this vision to life.
