Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of employees to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage store staff, ensuring they are well-trained in all areas, including customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any issues or conflicts within the team.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages team collaboration, motivation, and growth.
Operational Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the store to ensure it runs efficiently.
  • Ensure that Starbucks' operational standards are maintained, including product quality, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Monitor and manage the store's inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste.
  • Supervise and ensure all equipment is in good working order, with routine maintenance performed as necessary.
Customer Experience:
  • Ensure that customers consistently receive outstanding service and products in line with Starbucks' standards.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints professionally, ensuring quick resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive and inviting store atmosphere, promoting the Starbucks brand values.
Financial Management:
  • Manage the store's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs (labor, inventory, and supplies).

Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure the store is in compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and local laws.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained in all areas, including food safety and cleanliness.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations related to employee scheduling, wages, and workplace safety.
Community Engagement & Marketing:
  • Build and maintain relationships with the local community, promoting Starbucks as a great place to visit.
  • Support local events or initiatives that align with the company's mission and values.
  • Implement in-store marketing campaigns to promote new products, seasonal offerings, and special promotions.
Reporting & Communication:
  • Report regularly to upper management on store performance, including sales, staffing, customer satisfaction, and any challenges faced.
  • Ensure smooth communication between staff and upper management, including briefing the team on corporate initiatives or updates.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a retail or food service management position, with a focus on team leadership, operations, and financial management.
