Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group in California is seeking a Food Service General Manager to lead our school nutrition program with purpose, focusing on meals that support student health and learning. This role requires hands-on leadership, a commitment to safety, and a passion for equitable access to nutritious meals for all students.

You will manage daily operations, staffing, budgeting, vendor relationships, and compliance with NSLP guidelines, while building a collaborative, student-centered kitchen

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in food service management (K-12 or institutional preferred).
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of USDA school meal guidelines and food safety regulations.
