Job summary

Love's Travel Stops seeks a Site General Manager to oversee daily operations, profitability, and overall success of a truck stop facility. You will manage staff, ensure customer service excellence, optimize fuel and retail sales, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

This hands-on leadership role requires budgeting, P&L oversight, and driving revenue through promotions and great operations. You will hire and train 5–10+ employees across fuel, store, restaurant, and services in a

Qualifications

• 3+ years in retail or travel stop management.
• 3+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+ million.
• 3+ years budgeting and P&L experience.
• 3+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check; additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT physical.

At Love’s, The Site General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, profitability, and overall success of a truck stop facility. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, optimizing fuel and retail sales, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The General Manager must be a hands‑on leader, capable of multitasking and problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment.

Job Functions:

• Oversee the daily operations of fuel sales, retail, convenience store, restaurant, and other on‑site services.

• 3+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+million.
• 3+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 3+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to navigate various computer programs, systems, and technology tools as part of daily operations.
• Must be able to talk, hear, move around, lift up to 50 pounds, and see clearly to perform job duties.
