Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in New Iberia, LA to lead a high-volume kitchen and front-of-house team. You will oversee operations, ensure food safety, and drive sales through efficient workflow and service excellence.

This role requires strong leadership and a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of restaurant management experience and proven ability to manage budgets and P&L.

Qualifications

• 3+ years restaurant management experience.
• 3+ years managing operations with annual sales volume of $1M+.
• 3+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen with adherence to food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach and develop staff in preparing and packaging customer orders to meet service standards.
• Interpret financial reporting, P&L, and budget variances to drive business decisions.
• Address customer feedback to continuously improve the dining experience.

Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures

• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation

• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, talent acquisition and development, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting

• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations

• Understandfinancial reporting which includes profit and loss statements to affect business changes and capitalize on opportunities

• Address customer feedback and work to improve the overall dining experience

Experience:

• 3+ years restaurant management experience

• 3+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1M+

• 3+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements

Skills and Demands:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail

• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more

• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
