Job summary

Versant, the parent company of CNBC and related media brands, is seeking a General Manager to lead the Jim Cramer Investing Club, driving growth, strategy, and member experience for a premier subscription business. The role partners with Jim Cramer to shape vision, pricing, and new offerings that deepen connections with investors and the CNBC community.

The GM will own the Club’s performance, collaborate across editorial, product, marketing, analytics, and events, and develop revenue

Qualifications

• 10+ years in subscription, digital media, or related field.
• Deep understanding of direct-to-consumer subscription economics.
• Experience growing a subscription or membership product.
• Experience in events, sponsorships or partnerships is preferred.
• Strong commercial, analytical and product orientation.
• Interest in financial markets; experience in financial media is preferred.
• Ability to lead across cross-functional teams.
• Entrepreneurial, growth-minded with strong business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own the Club’s overall strategy and business performance, including subscriber growth, revenue, engagement and retention.
• Partner with Jim Cramer to establish the vision and priorities for the Club and deliver a premium member experience.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive subscriber acquisition, engagement and retention and increase subscriber lifetime value.
• Identify opportunities to expand the Club’s value proposition through new products, content, features, benefits, events and member experiences.
• Develop opportunities around live events, sponsorships and partnerships to strengthen the member experience and create new revenue avenues.
• Partner with Growth and Marketing to optimize the subscriber lifecycle, including acquisition, conversion, renewal and win-back.
• Partner with Insights and Analytics to monitor performance and translate data into growth strategies.
• Evaluate pricing, packaging and other commercial opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
• Lead cross-functional execution across editorial, product, marketing, audience development, analytics, technology, events and finance.
