Job summary

Popeyes in San Antonio, TX is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive guest service excellence, and safeguard food quality and cleanliness. You will recruit, train, and develop team members, manage inventory and labor costs, and contribute to sales growth and profitability while upholding Popeyes values.

The General Manager will model a positive, high-energy culture, handle scheduling and payroll, oversee health and safety compliance, and partner with local marketing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or AGN.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)

• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager

• Strong leadership and team-building skills

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

This position operates in a fast-paced restaurant environment and may involve exposure to hot equipment, kitchen hazards, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the shift, including the ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
