Job summary

Lightera in Norcross, GA seeks a General Manager to lead its flagship 24/7 fiber manufacturing operation. You will oversee manufacturing, engineering, quality, materials, EH&S, HR, and continuous improvement, while driving safety, efficiency, and long-term growth.

You will build and coach a tenured leadership team, manage major capital initiatives, partner with engineering to deploy advanced processes, and ensure alignment across production and technical teams in a union environment.

Qualifications

• Proven GM/Plant Manager experience in large-scale manufacturing.
• Experience leading 300+ employees.
• Union manufacturing environment experience.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience managing significant capital investments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Norcross facility across engineering, quality, materials, EH&S, HR, and manufacturing.
• Champion safety and operational excellence across the workforce.
• Lead capital investments and large-scale projects with minimal disruption.
• Develop and empower a tenured leadership team and union relations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align across the manufacturing network.
