Job summary

Illinois Tollway is seeking a General Manager of IT Contract Management to oversee contracts, procurement, budget, and KPI development to support a safe and efficient toll road network. The role emphasizes managing multiple projects, ensuring confidentiality, and coordinating with stakeholders across departments.

The incumbent will monitor contracts, lifecycle costs, and equipment end of life, while driving performance metrics and fiscal oversight in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management or related field or equivalent years of education/experience.
• Five years of work experience in fiscal operations, information technology and project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and contracts from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contract terms and conditions and facilitate appropriate action to address issues.
• Monitor equipment end of life/end of service dates and facilitate appropriate action to address issues.
• Collaborate with the Procurement and Compliance Department to procure equipment and services and structure new contracts to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide fiscal monitoring and facilitates appropriate action to address issues.
• Utilize departmental objectives, historical trend projections, and performance metrics to prepare the department’s budget and develop KPIs aligned with established goals.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the department’s senior leadership

In support of this mission, the General Manager of IT Contract Management manages contracts, facilitates procurement, monitors equipment end of life/end of service, monitors budget and cash flow, facilitates appropriate action to minimize disruption in service and support.

The General Manager of IT Contract Management responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitors contract terms and conditions and facilitates appropriate action to address issues.
• Monitors equipment end of life/end of service dates and facilitates appropriate action to address issues.
• Collaborate with the Procurement and Compliance Department to procure equipment and services and structure new contracts to meet the evolving business needs of the organization.
• Provide fiscal monitoring and facilitates appropriate action to address issues.
• Utilize departmental objectives, historical trend projections, and performance metrics to prepare the department’s budget and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with established goals.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the department’s senior leadership

Education (Required)

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Business, Management or a related field of study or the equivalent years of education and experience

Skills and Experience (Required)

• Five years of work experience in fiscal operations, information technology and project management

• Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality
