DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager III to lead high-impact warehouse operations and drive strategic improvements across sites. This role requires steering a team, optimizing processes, and maintaining safety and efficiency while delivering strong customer relationships.

The position emphasizes cost control, performance metrics, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support DHL’s reputation as a global logistics leader. A Bachelor’s degree and experience in 3PL are preferred.

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics, preferred.
• Staff management, required.
• P&L management, preferred.
• Project management, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred.
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support while developing a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operational and personnel activities to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory and performance metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services while honoring the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to drive improvement.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle site P&L and contribute to strategic financial outcomes.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customers.

The General Manager III role has a national salary range of $95,000 - $120,000.

• Manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective services and supplies while managing the site in accordance with the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's profit and loss (P&L), which is directly influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customer, leveraging strong team collaboration.
