National salary range: $95,000 - $120,000.

As a General Manager at DHL Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouses. Your responsibilities go beyond daily management; you will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic processes to optimize our warehouse operations. Your leadership will be vital in guiding our team, fostering a safe and productive work environment, and ultimately driving the overall success of DHL Supply Chain.

Job Description

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed while developing a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operational and personnel activities in the facility to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring cost‑effective services and supplies while managing the site in accordance with the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site’s profit and loss (P&L), which is directly influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customer, leveraging strong team collaboration.

Required Education and Experience

• 5 years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2 years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics, preferred.
• Staff management.
• P&L management, preferred.
• Project management, preferred.Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred.
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience, preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Experience at the Sr Operations Manager (Operations Manager I) level or above.
• Basic understanding with P&L management.
• Familiarity with OMS certification processes and operational compliance standards.
• Experience managing inbound operations, inventory control, order picking, staging, and outbound loading.
• Proven leadership experience in a fast‑paced warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of operational metrics, productivity management, and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience working in a 3PL or contract logistics environment preferred.
• Experience with Labor Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
