DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager II for Distribution to lead warehouse operations, drive strategic process improvements, and manage a team of operations staff. You will oversee safety, productivity, and cost control, while strengthening customer relationships and reporting performance to stakeholders.

The role requires extensive leadership in a 3PL environment with a strong focus on P&L ownership and operational excellence in a large, multi-facility organization.

Formación

• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in 3PL/Contract Logistics preferred.
• Staff management experience required.
• WMS experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and maintain a safe, clean, efficient working environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory and monitor performance.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies while aligning with the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decisions.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's profit and loss (P&L), influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customers.

Shift Schedule: This is a 2nd Shift position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM. Team members typically work 10 to 11-hour shifts based on operational needs.

The General Manager II role has a national salary range of $105,000 - $135,000.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operational and personnel activities in the facility to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective services and supplies while managing the site in accordance with the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's profit and loss (P&L), which is directly influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) to customer, leveraging strong team collaboration.

Required Education and Experience

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience, required
• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment, required
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics, preferred
• Staff management, required
• P&L management, preferred
• Project management, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience, preferred
