Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a self-motivated Food Service General Manager for Life University in Marietta, GA. You will advise and participate in day-to-day food service operations and the account’s financial success, adhering to contract guidelines, Health Department regulations, company standards, and expectations for food quality, freshness, and presentation. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain client and customer happiness by ensuring food quality and customer service standards are met consistently.
• Supervise hiring, training, and development of staff to uphold excellence in service and food quality.
• Prepare and complete daily, weekly, and financial reports, including those related to food and labor costs.
• Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards to guarantee the health and safety of customers.
• Champion strong client relationships to align programs with their objectives, driving satisfaction and retention.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient dining operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• Six or more years of operational food service management experience.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing, and presentation.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising and developing staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a dedication to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial reports.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be experienced with computers.
• ServSafe® Certified.
