Fogo de Chão in New Jersey is seeking a General Manager to lead all aspects of restaurant operations, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee front and heart of house leaders, manage staffing, and develop future leaders through the Manager in Development Program.

The role emphasizes achieving EBITDA targets, maintaining brand standards, and collaborating with talent acquisition to promote opportunities. Travel may be required.

Formación

• 5 years restaurant operations, and 3 years churrasco and churrascaria knowledge preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Advise and oversee Restaurant Leaders (Front of House and Heart of House Managers) and restaurant Office Assistant.
• Attract, develop, and retain restaurant leadership.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the restaurant.
• Develop Next Level Restaurant Leaders.
• Partner with Sales Manager in growing group dining sales revenues, event execution, and monitoring staff yield for the space on each date and time.
• Execute the Manager in Development Program for new managers in training.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to communicate promotion opportunities and offer letters.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and brand consistency in quality of service and product.
• Review Guest Sentiment, determine trends, identify gaps, and create improvement plans.
• Achieve revenue targets and monitor key plan drivers by forecasting and filling revenue gaps.
• Recognize local and industry dining trends.
• Responsible for full restaurant operational and financial success.
• Participate in Facilities Maintenance program by evaluating and submitting repair and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Achieve annual EBITDA targets.
• Ensure Guest and employee safety.

Bachelor’s degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. Combination of experience and education will be considered.Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.Occasional travel required.Physical DemandsThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
