Job summary

Margaritaville is seeking a dedicated Food Truck Operations Manager to oversee daily food truck operations, ensure food quality and guest experience, and drive profitability.

Responsibilities include scheduling, events, recruiting and training staff, cost control, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety standards. This on-site role requires hands-on leadership during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily food truck operations, including food production, service execution, and guest experience
• Plan and coordinate schedules, routes, events, festivals, and catering opportunities
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
• Ensure food quality, consistency, presentation, and speed of service standards
• Maintain accountability for food costs, labor costs, fuel expenses, and overall profitability
• Manage inventory levels, purchasing, receiving, and product rotation
• Ensure truck cleanliness, organization, maintenance, and operational readiness at all times
• Monitor vehicle maintenance programs and coordinate required service and repairs
• Oversee setup, breakdown, and event execution procedures
• Ensure compliance with local health department standards, licensing requirements, fire safety regulations, and food safety programs
• Build relationships with event organizers, venues, and community partners
• Track and analyze sales performance and operational metrics
• Handle guest concerns and implement effective service recovery practices
• Manage cash handling, POS systems, deposits, and operational reporting
• Assist with social media, local marketing efforts, and promotional activities
• Perform hands-on operational duties as needed during peak business periods
• Perform other duties as assigned
